Took my son and 2 Grand kids out fishing last sat night. Seas were about 2 ft but choppy. Anchored in 50 ft, just outside the 3rd reef.
Got a good chum slick going and got the Snapper to come off the bottom. Caught 31 keeper Yellow Tail. We were using 15 lb test line, no sinker, Hook right on 3 ft leader. Small pilchard for bait. Got back to dock at 3 AM.
Used electric knife to fillet the fish, no scaling,no cleaning, fast and easy.
Ann Egged and breaded the fillets with Italian seasoned breadcrumbs. YUM YUM.
Only bad news, hooked a Shark and couldn't stop it, cleaned off most line on my spinner.
