Did all of you on the Rondout and elsewhere make it though the rain and high water ok?
We've had it bad up here. Albany YC's docks tore loose yesterday. All boats went along for the ride. An Empire tug caught up with the mess a mile down stream and got it turned around. Bad scene. Everyone is displaced. Tying up wherever they can find a place. At our place, other clubs, the Albany wall, even several boats tied up to the Slater. I posted on ATC with a link.
We are all ok here at Coeymans. High water and a 7 knot current yesterday afternoon but we are all in one piece and unscathed.
Many transients stuck here as well as along the whole canal system which is shut down. Lots of boats from Albany YC coming in for haul out, repair or just a place to stay until they get stuff streightened out. Looks like their season is pretty much shot. A lot of rebuilding ahead.
