All good ideas folks. I'm thankful for the information. I'll be doing some homework next week as this Friday, (weather permitting) I'm off to Danfords on the LI Sound in Port Jeff. As this is just a discovery tour of the Sound I'll be going nice & slow to take in the sights. I wonder how many times I can have a good dinner in 3 days?

OK, so far I have Paces Steakhouse, Pasta Pasta & Louies in Port Wash. That's great info as it will cover my 3 dinners for Friday night -
Remember Ed Norton of the Honeymooners? It's late to eat as I already had dinner so maybe I'll just have an early breakfast. Now there are 250 channels with nothing on.

Louies is a dock and dine. Space can be at a premium during dinner. If they are full, Lamottas is to north of them but I've heard not as good.
Wave as you pass Hempstead Harbor as well.

I have one blower gasket and three inspection plates that drip. That will be rectified during layup.
In my mind it's like anything else, keep up with it, don't ignore it and it doesn't become an issue.

You will always chase leaks on a Detroit. It's good that you do chase them, but they will always leak somewhere.
