A Great Weekend Ahead!

What a beautiful night at Croton. Everyone left..don't know why....nice and quiet, calm seas and a slight breeze. Listening to Jimmy Buffett Live in MA. Can it get any better than this... Oh yes.. A Vodka and Tonic... Thanks Honey.. My wife is the best!!!

We're on the hook at Croton too. Made a few trips back and forth today to shuttle people back and forth. Tonight is boy night. My neighbor and his son, and me and mine. Its a beautiful night.

Bob- You have blue underwater lights? If so, we're off you port side.

Torches was nice. Had a nice run up there, docked fine with lots of local help. Great place. The kids menu is good and they loved the HUGE fish tank. Definitely on the do-again list.

I think I saw Ben pulling into Haverstraw late on Sunday, yelled out hi from the top deck on the Lady Helen.

Had a nice day yesterday, waited for the rain to stop and headed out to Torches had no problem finding room at the dock. We got there about a hour early so we hung out at the dock and had a drink. Dinner was great and it will be great again tonight, that was the biggest double cut chop I have ever seen. I had the kids do most of the driving home I would like to teach them to handle the boat although teaching docking may be a little stressful.
I guess this one goes in the books as another great Fathers Day.

Hey, I heard that shout-out! That was great. All my friends on the boat thought I was some kinda celeb. That was awesome!

What was going on, on the yacht?

Aah...The Lady Helen, the classiest boat in Haverstraw Marina in my opinion. She sure looked good sitting at her dock just before sunset with the sun reflecting off her starboard side. Passed her on the way back down the river yesterday afternoon. After the short storm, it turned out to be a fantastic afternoon and evening.

Hey Ben, I figured that was you down there, looks like you are enjoying the new ride, boat looks good.

Lady Helen is named after my mom, we were having a Fathers Day party with some friends and family.

Boat undertook a mini refit this winter, new paint, pulled off all the teak, and a long list of other updates. She looks great now.

Gotta say, it is sweet to be keeping company with the classy neighbors I have in the marina. Looking at Lady Helen, Graphics, Princess as we come and go makes us feel small, but the view is wonderful.

Ben

Yes that was me. I saw two Formula SS but was not sure which was yours. Do you have a sat dish on your boat? If so know I know which one was yours.

Incredibly well cared for and unbelievably equipped. You did good Ben :)

Ben,
They have an article on a 2010 Formula Super Sport in the July Power & MotorYacht magazine. The article is "Born To Boogie"... I guess this is what your interior must be like. Very Nice!

Guess I better go get that issue and take a look. The interior hasn't changed much in the past couple of years so it's likely very similar. Leather seating. Corian counter tops. The new boats have wood floors in the cabin, while mine is all carpet.
