I guess when we order from Planet Wings we should tell that nice little old lady not to deliver the wings to Bowline because we won't be there. Do you think she will be able to drive to Croton?
 
Well all right rommer, looks like warm cans of the cheap stuuf , don't think I'll be able to afford ice this year if the building business don't start to change, worst start of the excavating bus. ever in 20+ YRS., for me this year . Anyone need a good operator ?

There's a planet wings in Ossining....have them deliver to Half Moon Bay by the gazebo and meet them there with the dink.

Yup, Les installs the anchor you'll need in batches. Can take anywhere from a few hours to a bunch of days. He's been a real slacker lately!

Jon, the only two rules of the HRCC is that we serve and drink our beer COLD, and no "cheap stuff". You have to cut back elsewhere...
 
I'll drink to that Hogan, After re-reading my post even I had to say what the heck eas I thinking !

I must have had a bit of temporary insanity from lack of boating , thanks for bringing me back to my senses.

With the price of gas, beer is going to be a bargain this summer, relatively speaking!! I'll have to start buying the good stuff.

The price of everything is going up!

The fuel surcharge on a trailer load of freight right now is 36%. That means it cost an extra third to move the freight.

Nobody can absorb that cost anymore. Plus the corn/ethanol fiasco, the costs they are a rising.
 
That's it, I'm out of boating, and I give up drinking. Life is over.
 
I was gonna ask for his heart Chris but since he's a lawyer we know he doesn't have one! ;)
 
Don't worry, I'll bring the beer and you get gas. Problem solved.

Still waiting for my fancy anchor . Maybe tomorrow ?

No fancy anchor today either. Am i getting too impatient ? maybe i'm getting a little cranky cause i'm not going to be in this weekend. Wish I found the HRCC sooner this winter,( it is almost as fun as boating ) it's great having fellow boaters to talk to, not like the rest of my land - lubbing- friends who don't get how long winters can be without your boat.
