I'm planning my annual boat trip or at least a ferry ride to the boat show.
Anyone planning on going this year? I have a few things I would like to shop for and hopefully order a satellite dome. I enjoy just looking at whats new and then sitting back and thinking there is not much out there I like better then what I already own. Life is good:)

Dan, the New York Waterways Ferry runs from Weehawken to the terminal right across the street from Jacob Javits Center. If memory serves, parking at Weehawken and round trip tickets for two on the ferry was, I think, $38 last year. This is what we do every year for the New York show. Now if they would only put an entrance on the river side of Javits...

As crazy as it sounds if it is cold we take the bus for the one block ride, it drops you off on the entrance side. It's much cheaper the tolls and parking. I haven't gotten my free tickets to the show yet but I expect a call soon Staten Island has been great I guess they think sooner or latter I'll by another boat and the truth is the way they treated me I would be happy to be another boat from them.

We stopped attending because it did not compare to the A.C. show. The only problem with the A.C. show was that it always snowed making a mess of the GSP on the way down.

I heard alot of the vendors that did not show last year was going to come back this year. I stopped going becaiuse I cant afford to keep losing shoes down there..

Last year was horrible. The motorcycle show was bigger and better than the boat show.

Deb makes me wear them around my neck. The added benefit is that the sales people leave me alone.

Went to the atlantic city show and was not impressed, was not the in water show, I heard that one is pretty good.

Last year's show was the first time I was ever on a "big" boat. Bought one a few months later. Funny how things work out. I'll definitely take time off work and walk over again this year. It's only a few blocks from my office, so I'm sure I'll go.

Looking for underwater lights. Going to replace the ONE that I have now with three that have the current draw of the one currently installed.

We are using Ocean LEDs. A bit pricey but so far so good.

For anyone attending, I will be manning a booth at the NY Boat Show for Davison's Yacht Sales and will be sharing adjacent booths with Davison's Boat Yard and Atlantic Diesel Service ( booths 1142,44 and 46).

I anyone is attending the show, please stop by and say hello. Would like to meet and put some faces to names.

Dave, the zoo is in Central park, it's a boat show, not a "zoo"

Haven't you ever seen the animals at the boat show? sure seems like a zoo at times.

I'll be heading over to the show on the 22nd also. It'll be my 2nd boat trip of the year, taking the kids to the Statue this weekend.

It would be great to meet you guys.

I can't wait till spring...

There was still a wait to get on any boat I wanted to see but you are right years ago you could wait an hour to get on board and they rushed you through unless they sized you up as a customer.
