The propeller repair shop and the fiberglass guy promised me 10% for any repairs due to running aground at Bowline.

So, everyone, c'mon in and enjoy Bowline. It's simple to get in and out and the anchor holding is superb!

It is simple to get in and out as long as you know the proper way to do it.

Put it this way, follow the normal boating rules and you WILL run around!

Butch, is this the pic you were talking about? It was taken in August, 2004. My time flies when you're having fun!!

There's nothing like feeling like an orphan on Mother's day!

What was worse was we drove the boat home, minus 2 blades. Oh did I mention the mother in-law was with us....

Like most mother-in-laws, I'm sure she was extremely compassionate and has never, ever mentioned it again...yeah right!

Although we do have a member who bought a boat and a few months later (around the holidays) his mother-in-law cut him a check for the purchase price of the boat. No she doesn't adopt but I did warn the guy if he goes first, I'll be chatting up his widow!

I can't get over thoes pictures right in our own back yard i usually only see that stuff in magazines of far away places , where the heck am i when that stuff happens i never saw so many boats aground around here before i found the hrcc. Still feel bad for thoes poor boaters who ran aground though...

Quick question ??,
the boat aground on Bannermans , is he facing south on the skinny side (east side)? hard for me to tell, just curious thank you Jon.

I wish I had pics of all the boats that have been on the wall at Coeymans. Several every year without fail. Even with the new CG white and orange buoys that say "CAUTION JETTY".

is it safe to go into that cove at bowline
we tried to watch the fireworks from outside
we didnt want to venture in and take any chances
