Carver owners count off

Proud owner of a 1990 2357 Montego. Pictures to come real soon. Now I know what some of you are thinking. 2357 is so small. Unfortunately my 1981 28 Mariner is being sent to the Boat Cemetery.

The 2357 Montego is NOT small...very large in fact for it's size designation...9'3" beam!

Sorry to hear about your Mariner :-(

Just purchased a 2557 montego in northern Ca. FIRST BOAT!!!

Woo Hoo, I'm official now (# 119?). Took possession of my 1984 40' 3607 Aft Cabin (I know, It's a mutant) last Thursday. It goes back in the water after bottom painting this week to reside for a while in the Pittsburg Marina. The added 4' cockpit really makes a difference.

I'll be doing some cosmetic work right away including new furniture & dinette cushions, new bimini canvas (to match the aft deck), a new inverter, Stereo upgrade, & installing all the new electronics that came with the deal (still in the box). Fortunately, she had a great survey so no safety or big mechanical things that need to be done.

This is my first boat ... figured I jump in at this level so I don't spend my soon to be retirement life moving up 10 feet at a time. Thanks to folks here who have already given me some great pieces of info/advice; I'm not even thinking of taking her out anywhere until I get the right training. I'm not even bringing her the short distance from Antioch to Pittsburg (CA Delta) myself).

Anyway, here she is (broker picture ... I'll update it when I get one in the water myself). I'll post bridge & inside pics I took over on the Carver Pictures thread so I don't take a lot of space here.

I must be #123. Who's in charge of this impromtu survey, anyway? Just logged on to boated since last year. I'm out here in Lake Charles, LA, with a 1995 355 Aft Cabin - Meant II Be. Purchased in 2006 and have been slowly upgrading and doing minor repairs. More to do - ie, whole in the water where money goes!

Welcome aboard, Tony. Can't wait to see the pics. This is a great place to get your ???'s answered or discussed, as well as lots of stuff you may never have thought about. What's your boat ownership history? My 3607+ is my 1st.

129 or 130?
1990 Santego 630. Twin gasoline duo-prop.
Our first boat in July 2008. Ruth and I are on small island (Isla Taboga), in Pacific, 10 miles or so from Panama City, Republic of Panama. We love to get out and drive around the nearby islands, many uninhabited. Our fisherman friends sure catch a lot of wonderful sea bass and snapper which we purchase for $1.50 or so a pound. Life is good! Dennis & Ruth
