FUEL PRICES

We're at $3.49 for 89 octane gas and 2.79 for red juice. Of course I think that they are still selling off last years supply. When the next shipment comes in, the price will probally go up.

The days of cheaper fuel at the state run marinas is pretty much over. They are leased to a commercial concern and prices are up. Not sure if both are leased but one of them is for sure.

For any of you up here around Albany or will be passing through I stopped in and had lunch at Castleton Boat Club today while out fishing. Could not believe this but they are selliing gas for $2.27 a gallon and if your a member of a council club or have Boat US they will knock ten cents off that. Pretty darn good.

Oh yeah the lunch is good too. Five bucks for a nice lunch including dessert. Its whatever they are making but it usually really good and open to all boaters passing through. Usually Saturday and Sunday during the season if there isnt anything else going on.
 
I topped off at Haverstraw yesterday and diesel is still at $2.99 while gas is at $3.69

FWIW I paid $2.89 with the Haverstraw discount.

Panco is def profiteering. I'd suggest avoiding them and heading around the conner to Haverstraw.
 
Ever since Panco jacked their prices up a week before Katrina hit, I have refused to buy my gas from them.

Be aware that Panco also runs the gas dock at Minesceongo, so don't buy gas their, either.
 
I heard that Panco is no longer at Minesceongo. The club has decided to run the dock themselves. has anyone else heard this?
 
Not sure who is running it but when I was there 2 weeks ago the gas dock was closed but they had pump prices that read $9.23 per gallon.

They assured me that the price would come down a bit when they opened for the season...

White's Marina is still $3.299 for gas, may be a good stop if you are going up to Kingston.

Dan, what is up with KOSCO and no pumps there? Did they close up shop or were they forced out for some reason? They always had good prices.

I looked at the Seatow lists, some good, some bad info. They have the current data for the Stony Point/Haverstraw area but then other areas haven't been updated since as far back as 2005!

They have no data for the Kingston area so Dan if you are around can you post some local prices?
 
John, the reason it is updated is because I did so at 5:30 this morning!

It could be a useful tool if more boaters updated it on a regular basis.

We're a little out of touch here in Punta Cana, but I would expect them to have their docks in for memorial day. I've not looked at the pumps yet because the thought of paying 4 bucks a gallon was enough to scare me away.
We'll know more Sat. when we are back.

RYB has gas at 3.55 diesel is at 2.80 but this is rumored to change next week so shop now... :D
 
John, I figured someone who uses diesel could keep track of those prices, I get dizzy when I see the gouging they are doing with the gas!
