Hey George, what gives?

Hey George,
are you going to have to get a USCG Capt license now being that she's over 40'?
And what about the crew Reg?

Joe, I believe I am 20' short of needing a Capt. license to drive this! The crew was picked starting about 39 years ago, but you are always welcome to come along for a ride.

Got a few more pictures after her bath, looks like she is about ready for transport, should be here on the 17th :)

Maybe they will send a picture of her shrink wrapped on a flat bed making a right turn on West Monroe Street heading East[:-sonar]

I guess I was wrong George. I thought it was after 40 foot for both the license and the need for at least 1 deck hand. Oh well...

She looks real nice and it even comes with a trailer.. LOL.....

Tic toc tic toc tic toc...... Time seems to go slower and sloooooweeeerrrrrr......

That's not funny Dan! But the ice is out of the marina and the docks will be back in place by next weekend...how does Hogan do the hour count? Is it just 17 X 24? Did you know Google was based on logorithms, or is it algorithms - I could be insane by the 17th!

The wife and I along with Jake the insane border collie are spending our first weekend of the season on the boat and yea, it's worth it!!!

Hey Geo
Tic toc tic toc........

Time marches on.....

We have so much going on up here time is flying. How's it going with you?

It is going ever so slowly, but then maybe the season will pass just as slowly - fat chance, but anyway, here are the latest:

Now if I did the hole in the wrap by the helm station, navigated by radar and GPS I could save a bundle on next years winterizing! However, the real deal is 12 days and a wake up...maybe I should check the construction schedule on I-80 & I-84 Eastbound [:-blindfold]

Cross those fingers and grit those teeth, buddy!!!

Just got a call from the transport driver, he is caught in construction near Matamoras, will call again when he gets to Middletown so I can meet him in Newburgh, then we're bringin' her home!! I'll be back tonight with the update and hopefully pics in the water at White's Marina....

Say a prayer for those caught in the tragedy at VT, and let us count our blessings for the joy we share together....George

AMEN to that thought, and best of luck with that great looking floating money pit..... :--)))

So George,

Where are the pics???? Did you splash yet?

WE'RE WAITING!!!

Jonathan

Looking GOOD there George. I could see her from the train station this eve.
Best of Luck with her!!!

George, maybe you can get Butch and Caryl to slap a coat of wax on that fine looking baby for you!

I don't think he's been able to let go of the wheel yet. Something about the s.o. having to use some kind of solvent on his hands but he's still permanently stuck anyway...
From what I've heard he looks pretty silly with this big grin, wide eyes, and his knuckles straining. She just sits there next to him wondering how to tear him away. Come on Geo tell it like it is.

Wow George, that's awesome. Where are the pics?

Did the delivery doctor have to spank you on your butt to get you breathing once the umbilical cord was cut?

I can't believe this, the boat is here, its in the water, I appreciate the concern shown, but I cannot get the pictures to copy!! I have sent a few to some guys here, maybe they can do me a favor and put them up somehow. It has been very exciting, they called me Wednesday morning and I was able to meet the truck by hte Newburgh-Beacon Bridge and lead them to the marina. Rather than put it in we decided to work on the hard, then Thursday about 1PM we dumped her in.

The technician they sent from Cleveland was super, we got all new electronics installed; C-80 Raymarine multifunction display/4Kw open array radar/GPS, ICOM M422 VHF...ran a few systems aboard, now awaiting water hook up to check ice maker and hot water. Have to go to the gas dock when it opens this weekend and then I'll be able to give it a run, not too anxious though given the size of the debris visible from shore.

And it looks like we have a really good weekend approaching weather wise. Again, thanks for the posts, sorry I couldn't get in here sooner....be well....G

George, Best of luck with the new girl and get out there and enjoy her. Loooks like you should have a good weekend for a good shakedown.
