Sorry about the quick change of plans. Would have loved to show you the boat.
Mike W asked me to move the boat a few slips away and I figured it would be just as easy to move it across the canal.

I'll be sure to keep an eye out for an available slip.

And thanks for the idea on the reverse image camera. I definitely want to get that installed and connected to both screens. Any suggestions on specific cameras?

Post in the Ask the Captain, Dave there is better than I when it comes to CCTV, the majority of what I do now is phones and data. I have local sources to buy from for you.
 
Speco+CVC-627MR is about the cheapest reverse image camera I have found less then half the price of the Garmin and a third the price of Raymarine. Speco is a LI based company so should be easy to come by.

Walter I think ADI can order it but don't thing the would stock it.

Speco used to be right here in Lindenhurst. All they do is import and rebrand ... Amazing how large they have become .

FYI the owner is a boater. He purchased Hull # 1 for when luhrs made a Sedan bridge back in the 80's .....

I went to High School with the owners son. I don't remember his name but we spoke about 25 years ago when Speco was real small. I think they are still in

I remember when they where on 109 across from the cemetery I don't know were they moved but I have been using there product for many years and while it is not the best product on the market they are a very good value! If you need me to order a camera for you let me now I can put it on my account and you can pay for it when you pick it up in Plainfield. This would not be a major big deal if you need. Just let me know I could even have it shipped to you if need be but I have to believe Walter would have an account at the same supplier.
 
I may need a new camera or advice. My boat has 2 cameras and neither one worked after hooking back up the arch.
I think it could of been power issue as my battery was weak. Will know more soon!

I think I have 1 off brand camera and way Raymarine camera.

I know where the lines are, we had to hook them up when we put the arch on.
Just don't know if it was a power thing or a line thing yet.
I am leaning towards power thing because the cockpit camera was not touched at all for transport and it wouldn't work either. Only backup cameras was touched.
I charged batteries on Sunday so can check again this weekend, but it's low on my list of to-do's!

This weekend certified IPS guy comes and we get those puppies checked out!
if that goes well, I am in 4/26.
