Is it time yet?

I was down to visit my sleeping lady today. Boy was it a nasty blowing cold mess out there.

Cold and nasty.

It's still February, not ready to get going yet.

I'm heading up there in a few minutes to make arrangements for bottom sanding I want to get as much out of the way as soon as I can. This way when the weather turns it wash wax paint the bottom and start boating. I have some other issues to address but we have time.

Went down to the marinas to take a look around. I need to do some barnacle scraping around the drives. It was too cold to be near the water so that will wait for another day.

Hey Rob, did the blue on your hull hold up through the season? If so, you should be able to just use a sealant on it this year. Just don't try to get another year out of it without doing anything.

The blue did fairly well. I may need you to come back again soon.

I'll let you know shortly.

Rommer
It was nice to meet you yesterday It looks like the count down clock needs to be updated for you being you are getting such an early start to the season.
Good luck and enjoy!

Nice to meet you as well Dave. Not sure how I got on the schedule so early.
Much work to be done and not sure how it's going to get down.

Rommer if there is anything I can do to help let me know. I'll be up there every weekend. I hope to uncover either next weekend or the following we'll have to see what the weather brings. Once uncovered let the cleaning begin. As everyone here knows it's a labor of love.
