It's over...

Jon if you are heading up there, just make a couple of calls. One of them has to have slips in still.

Thanks pete , and yup it's the one third rule for sure this time of year + extra gas jugs :)
Dan , great to hear from you been keeping track of your adventures but not posted much lately cause work has been really buisy , Im not complaining though because it's all over for me in about two weeks untill the plowing starts. Hope you guys are having the time of your life enjoying the sun. talk to ya soon man

Sure enough. Good luck with the plowing season, although by wishing you that I might p.o. some others :D

Hey Dan, are you on track to get to WPB this weekend? I see from your blog you made Ft. Pierce. How is that place? We're leaving Saturday for FL, should arrive on Monday. Depending on where you are we might be able to detour over and say "hi" for awhile. It would be a nice diversion from a long drive...

Sure Pete, that sounds good. We are leaving Ft. Pierce today for the North Palm Beach Marina Sat and Sun, and given the weather we probably will not be crossing anytime soon. After these two nights we may be a Riviera Beach municiple marina, or we may stay at North Palm. Perhaps you still have my cell number so you can give me a shout. Otherwise I believe I have yours on my phone still and I'll give you a ring at some point to ensure you can call us if you have time and energy after driving to stop by.

I heard they changed it to

Hi Dan, yes I have your cell number programmed in my phone. I'll give you a shout when we get close and we'll take it from there. Good luck on your next leg of your voyage!!!

Thanks Pete and we hope you have a safe trip also. It might be easy to plug the garmin data (from the blog) into google maps to see where we are. It's very accurate and should be loaded soon. We are here at the marina now. Safe trip, a bit sloppy getting out due to wind but ok.

We went up to cover Hogan today, but it was too damn windy and cold! Maybe next weekend...

The last half case of beer was removed from the boat today. I guess the season is really over!

But that's only the beer right John? You don't have to worry about the other stuff freezing right?

Butch, I see you and Warren are still not covered.

All beer, water, and soda have been removed. Now the vodka, gin, scotch, rum, tequila, and some wine, well lets just say I can still go and do work over the winter and keep warm!

I was not sure if I would or not, Have some work that needs to be done and not sure when it will be covered. They are going to need access to her stern for awhile. Guess the weather has not been that good either.

I just read on the Haverstraw website that the fuel docks are "closed for the season" as of yesterday. In years past they used to open by appointment but it seems they may not be doing that this year. If you were counting on a last minute fuel up you may want to call the office first or plan on heading to Belmar!

Mike, where you at Pennybridge. Both Warren and the Caryl-D are covered. You are the only boat in the yard that still needs its cover. Listen since you are not covered yet why don't we put Hogan in tomorrow so we can have good seats to watch the stack come down at Lovett. Suppose to blast it 10am tomorrow.

Butch, I'd love to, if it were going to be a bit nicer, I could be tempted to shoot up there on Giggity! I have the cover there, just gotta put up the frame and haul it up.

I'd think about it if it doesn't pour . Betcha the bull line hole won't be croweded either ;)
