They are calling for 6" to 12" tomorrow. I guess it's time to break out the snow blower. I knew this time would come but it doesn't mean I have to like it. It's hibernation time see you in the Spring. Try to stay warm and safe.

Get in some down here also, but not as much( I hope) Got the blower ready last wk. so that was ready!!

Figures....we were supposed to start our drive to Florida tomorrow after the movers packed. Oh well, another day or two won't matter and at least it will be the last storm we have to suffer through!

Well, if you're headed to Florida tomorrow wear your woolies. It's cold down here. ......... No snow though. :)

Bob

Now calling for 11 TO 16 INCHES on Longisland:

ACCUMULATIONS...11 TO 16 INCHES...WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS. SNOW MAY MIX WITH OR CHANGE TO RAIN AND SLEET AT THE HEIGHT OF THE STORM TONIGHT ACROSS EASTERN LONG ISLAND AND COASTAL SOUTHEAST CONNECTICUT. THIS WOULD HOLD DOWN AMOUNTS THERE...BUT ONLY AFTER SIGNIFICANT ACCUMULATIONS HAVE ALREADY TAKEN PLACE.

It's blowing stink down here in Hope Town also and Gale might come to town.

Dan
Stop B!tching, you still wont have to deal with the snow drifts!

Dan, I will take your weather over this anytime.....Enjoy it and hope you and Deb had a great Holiday..

Hey some of the sand dunes are pretty steep down here, and when the wind is blowing you get a free face expoliation.

getting ready, tightened up the boat cover and started up the Toro (snowblower).....

It's coming your way folks!!

We got hit with a 1/4" this AM. Time to stock up on groceries.

I just came back from checking the boat, set a couple of extra lines and then the super market.
It was a Zoo there and not a container of milk to be found- it’s a good thing I use half & half

I'll believe it when I see it...

But, just in case, I better go out and get milk and bread...

one word for you: PARMALAT!

stuff a few of them in a cabinet as back up, it's real milk and can be stored for months. that's what we do in hurricane country, and on the boat.

I just topped off the gas tank started the snow blower and dug out the snow shovels I even have a full bag of salt. I guess I'm ready for anything that comes our way. Last night we picked up milk but maybe we should stock the fridge before this hits. Best of luck to all and try not to hurt your backs mine is already hurting I'm not looking forward to this workout.

So you can dig out after your cigar break?

Was in Orlando for a week, it hit all time low's since 1962 or well made the best of it. Wish I had a little break from the cold but no luck. It's going to be a long winter.

Still snowing and the snow drifts are out of control

There is at least two feet on my deck that has blown from my roof. Looks like tomorrow is a bust did I mention I hate this time of year!
