The Rockland Sheriff's Marine Unit are good guys, they are very responsive and they are not into hassling people just for the sake of doing it.

Too bad that other marine units don't follow their lead.
 
The Rockland officers - one of them wouldnt be my friend Bob Perogine, would it? He did the safety classes at the boat shows we held in White Plains, and has an office in Elmsford...
 
I've often thought the Ulster County Marine unit is ok. I just wish they were out there more often. Like setting up a sting on the creek in the wee hours waiting for shnooks to blow by the RYB on the way home. It's rare but it happens. Tough to catch.
