Need to purchase a new toilet

All the components and plumbing were new at install. Since we ran the larger FW feed to the ME, I guess its better. Or maybe I'm getting used to it. I make sure it has plenty of water in the bowl to start, then add water and flush multiple times along the way. So far it has not clogged again. I'm still convinced that that clog on first use was due to the ME becoming air bound. It just will not pump air. As long as it has enough water, it works OK.

The ME is still not nearly as aggressive as the flush action of the Sea Era, which works perfectly.

To date, Raritan has not returned our most recent phone calls from my install mechanic. He wanted to review our entire install with Raritan's tech guy on the phone while the mechanic was on my boat. I guess it is what it is and I'm on my own. Or as a (cynical) boating friend of mine refers to it: AMF-YOYO. Very disappointing.

Are you waiting for a return call from FL or NJ? I agree with Vic on the quailty control....you can give them the serial number off any pump and they can look it up and tell you , how much amperage it pulled, how much pressure it pumped, etc etc...when it was built ....all their products are tested this way before shipping....just wish it was as quick to get an answer now as when Vic was there

Water level other then barely having less then a pint should not be an issue unless you have a quart of solids you are trying to flush!
I would try going up the ladder at Raritan.
Good enough doesn't sound right to me.

If he has he hasn't posted the results. You don't need a phone call from Raritan to do this test.

Enough time has past since I last contributed to this thread. Time for an update to provide suggestions to others who may need to purchase a new toilet.

My ME is successfully installed (as I mentioned in another thread) and I give many ATTA BOYS to RARITAN's DESIGN TEAM!! Job WELL DONE folks!!! That is one fine toilet...head to those who prefer.

Wifey is just thrilled. I saw no reason to resort to the microcomputer controlled flush system. The simple flush button works just fine. BUT THE FLUSH!!! Quite, fast and efficient. I highly recommend this toilet.
