After a 9 hr run from BeanTown my new ride is in its home slip at Brewers Sterling Harbor.

It got real snotty leaving Buzzed Bay & in Block Island sound but slowed down to 18Knts & Boat handled the rough well.
I see a lot of fuel being burned in my future as this one wont be a dock mary!

Congratulations Andy. Nice looking boat. Glad to hear that it did well in the rough. When you get time I would like to hear it speed, weight etc before it gets all loaded up.

Boat weighs 48,500 dry, Add full fuel & water weighs about 56,000lbs
Still need to load up on personal stuff etc

Per GPS stats the Trip was just under 150 miles & took 9hr 37m

Spent about 90min under 10knot’s leaving Quincy/getting out to Cape Cod Bay & going threw the CC Canal.

When conditions allowed we cruised at 21/22 knots running around 1900RPM.
Backed down to around 18Knots when really rough

With the wheels that are on the boat know we can reach 27knots at 2220RPM
WOT should be 2250RPM .
Im very ok with its performance & I have a bunch of $’s I need to spend now for a Sat system, some Nav upgrades, oh yea Taxes! After the smoke clears I may have a set of Katapult wheels made like I did for my 50 Cruisers. They should give me 2-4 more Knots threw out the range.
This will help with fuel burn as well

As of now she’s a keeper!

I feel like I was once in that slip as a transient is that the one with I lovely few of the cemetery? This was the only dock I had trouble reaching with my power cord I was told I had to bow in they said there wasn't enough water for my props. I wonder if they dredged?

Again congrats it looks great!!

Yes, great view of the Cemetery- but very quiet!!
all new floating docks and was dredged,
that being said im in a very tight slip

Best of luck with her Andy, she is beautiful.. Also that is a great marina, we stay there when we travel to Greenport and have always been happy there. Great restaurant and dock staff, plus as you stated no issues from the neighbors.... :--)))

Im not sure Ill be going down south this winter as there's so much to do, but there is a good shot in 2019
