Welcome -- the best thing the captain that took us out taught us was to just keep steerageway on -- i.e., go slow. It's easy to "bump off" something than crash into it! Key point was said above -- don't get frazzled. When you feel that way (we all have), take a deep breath, a step back, reassess, then try again. It's not worth damaging people and boat! Our captain had us doing fairway 360's and touch-and go's for close to 3 hours before I felt comfortable. Hogan and the guys have a wealth of experience, so lean on them with questions -- you're in a great marina!
