I am wondering what the reaction is to the new digs at Nicky's now that it has been open for 2 months or so. I understand that it will be open all year save for January and February. Anybody been there?

Was there a couple of weeks ago, very expensive both food and drinks, you would think you were on fire island. Went for lunch at 230pm, tied up and was told they open at 3pm so we waited. At 3 pm we were told not till 4pm so we waited. At 4pm we were seated, $15.00 mud slide, $8.00 tap Beer, ordered baked clams, 3 small ones for I think $12.00, had salad and seafood soup came out a fuchsia color, couldn't get past color and sent it back, tasted horrible. They brought out Clam chowder, very watery and the color was of dirty grey water left over from rinsing clams. well we cut our loses and it cost us almost $60.00 with tip. That was not even eating dinner. BTW the entree prices were in the $24-37 dollar range.

Never again.........

It used to be decent, have not been this year. We wrote it off last year when we had a bad experience there with slow service and poor quality food. For those prices better off on Fire Island, Snapper Inn, or the View.
Fat Fish I hear is good, that is also in bayshore but I hear no water there.
Also Docksides re-opened and that was reviewed here as well, suppose to be decent.
BayVue right by Marine Max is decent and has docking too.

They don't have schnitzel or spaetzle.....you'd hate it jerry!!

Went to Fat Fish on friends Fountain a few Thursday's ago and found the service and food very good. The eye candy was pretty good too. I would not go there with a boat needing more than a 3' draft at high tide.

Anyone know what will become of the former Molly Malones? I really liked the docking there!
