PBM/HM/SPBM/MYC/Bowline

Glad to hear. They were very exposed from that side. I was told Haverstraw was going to build a second seawall on the north end of the enterance to help protect the gas docks. Being out on the end our boats can rock pretty good when a barge goes by so it would be a great help to us as well. I hope they do it. The internal boats don't move an inch.

They said they will fix sea wall but only can do it at low tide. So it will be most of the summer from what the carpenter said.

In my last marina my boat didn't move, well at least not during low tide.

And most of you guys in HM now have boats that don't move no matter what the tide is! You should at least start them up once in while...

What do you mean? I have gone through three tanks of gas already this year. Wait a minute, that's on my dink.

While I haven't had to fill the tanks as of yet I have left the dock most weekends! The nice thing is I don't need to to have a good time. When you are surrounded by friends and keep your boat in a resort type marina you can even enjoy being at dock!

Are you at Pennybridge now?

Yes, at least ten days out to Montauk and Block Island.

You need to stop working on the boat so much and just enjoy it!

Well i am. I enjoy working on the boat :-) it is the only time i am not thinking or stressed out about work. We are going to be away for 4 days though. Cant wait.

If we only went away for four days, my wife would divorce me! She's upset that we can't go for 2 1/2 weeks...

Taking a week off is a world record for me. My industry os very busy in the summer months so i cant take so much rime off. Taking a week is the longest i ever did in the summer in 16 years.

Last time I took 2 weeks back to back was mid 80's I believe and I can't even remember when I took a full one week vacation, mid 90's possibly.

But regardless, it's ok. I'm not one that needs or wants a lot of time off all at once unless maybe I have something like a cruise or cross country trip planned...which I don't. But next week I start my summer schedule! Half days every day and 3 day weekends every week for 2 months. Now THAT I really enjoy!!

Wayne being you are so interrested in whats going on at SPBM even when you are so happy at HM, the crew repairing our marina I believe work for Wayne on his projects. The forman has a boat 2 slips from me and very nice guy. He is keeping us informed. I hope that helps you so you don't have to keep visiting us every weekend. LOL
