Hope everyone's bilge pumps are working, and batteries are charged. We are in for a boatload of rain!!!

The wind started and some rain this early this morning Mike. I'm expecting this storm to rival the Mothers Day storm from 2 years ago. The wind is gusting over 40mph now.

The worst of it seems to be skirting us to the west. If it stays in that pattern, we may not see as much as predicted. And it's moving pretty quick. No winds here in Sussex County NJ right now and only light rain.

The radar shows rain all the way from the Bahamas to NY. Hopefully, it stays more to the west. Wind is suppposed to hit us within the hour.

It passed through here over the last 48 hours. We got in the vacinity of 14" since Tuesday AM. Last night's winds gust at 60+

The good news is the boat is still afloat. The better news, is the whole cockpit got a good wash-down.

John,

I put an extra bow and stern line on your boat last night.

THANK-YOU SO MUCH!

I was getting concerned with the wind issue. I never got a chance to mount the dock fenders yet.

High tide is at 3:36 PM today. I think it will be realy high then. The town already has the barricades in place for use later today. The river looks like the Bering Sea in January and walking on the dock is like a carnival ride. Fishing anyone?

I was told by a fellow boater one of my bridge windows let loose. I had a feeling because the zipper was bad and was on my list of winter jobs, oh well nothing I can do now. I'll check it on Saturday.

Down here is South Jersey other than the early morning rain all we have had so far is a wind event. Looks like the storm is starting to move East a bit. The local weather guy says we should get the brunt of the storm between midnight and
6AM here. As of 9:45PM windy as all get out but no rain. I think Saturday will be a good day.
John I hope you are having an ok day with all you are going through. You are in our prayers.

Can the weather "forecasters" EVER accurately predict the weather???

Another bust...

Not good up north. Catskill Marina lost its west docks and more:

Wow!!! that is BAD!

The rain has pretty much stopped, but we're getting a strong NW wind now, the boats are really rocking in the marina.

Ouch!!!

That is messed up.

The fiberglass guys are gonna be busy next spring!
