Reserve your slip for next season?

It looks more like 15" from the helm. No, the boat has no bow thruster, but - just between you and me - I'll probably wish I had one a couple of times next summer.
 
I can honestly say I've never found myself saying, "why did I ever install that damn bow thruster in my boat?"
 
And I'm glad he is way past me before he has to pivot...

Butch, it's not me that you have to worry about, it's all the other knuckleheads who mistake your boat for a fender!

My comment about G dock was do to the above statement. I got the impression the you might be going there and the rest would follow.
As for Bob and I being billed for 49' I'm still only 44' but that may change soon I'm pretty close to making a deal on a 4' addition. I'm still trying to find info on a cradle or chocks but I want them to be easily removable or fold down but not to brake the bank.

Hogan I don't think I have 15' in front of my when I turn and it might get tighter.
 
Man you guys have been having fun. As for me, I reserved my slip for the summer. Remember what makes boating fun, your family and the friendS you have made while boating. With that said, I like were I am. The marina offers several features I like, the pool and play area for the kids, the resturant, parking close to your dock and floating docks.

Hey Bob, who is "the friend" you have made?
 
I'll be back in the spring. SPBM is a great place to hang out close to home, in my case, 1 mile. My two grandsons, age 6 and 11 love the pool. It's not too shallow for them. Now we are off to Key Largo for a while. I hear that it is impossible to catch an undersize yellowtail snapper at Molasses Reef right now. Merry Christmas to all.

I have now corrected my spelling and added the origional s that was to be included from the begining. So now I have many friends in the boating arena..

You would think so, but with the current that can rip through and the wind, it can get very interesting.

I say if you can dock at PennyBridge, you can dock anywhere!
 
I go bow pulpit to bow pulpit with the boat across from me at my dock when I make the swing, no current to speak of, do have wind and do have plenty of water under me so it's all good most of the time.
 
Not having water sometimes helps to keep the boat from blowing away. Then again it also makes hard to move. I guess you have to take the good with the bad.

I'm glad to hear everyone will be returning this Spring I hope we have nicer weather and less rain.
 
Mike I would have left the dock more this season if you did better with the weather!
 
Todd, if you recall, I gave it up this year and YOU took control, and you did a very poor job...
 
Who ever was in charge did such a p**s poor job that I was forced to move away!!

Thanks!! Today we did a nice trip to Georgetown for lunch, a cool 56 degrees but enjoyable. First time ever that I have been boating in December, I could get to like this.
