It seems things are going to change on the creek. Me, I think Island Dock and the surrounding areas needs to be developed. The property is languishing and is unsightly.
BUT,
There are existing businesses that jut out into the creek namely Hideaway and the City Docks. Ianucci wants half the creek and I suspect that means other areas are going to be pressed to conform.
Once that happens expect the profitability of Hideway to fall and thus, it will fall into the hands of a developer also? Just a humble supposition here..
It will be interesting to see what the maritime law specialist comes up with.

Do squatter's rights have bearing on a tidal creek? If not, then can we punt mooring balls on the creek also?
