SPlash dates , Too soon lol

Hoping for decent weather in late March to do some bottom painting and vinyl stripes so I can get back in the water during the first week in April.

HRCC is dead, as well. I have tried to spark some threads, but there seems to be no interest

The moderators are boring, bring back the guy with the lose nuts!

Dave,
The Regal forum is slow as well. Most people are using social media as a way of communicating.
The only people I see posting on forums are those not active on other social media platforms.

I live in Florida now. A splash date is when you jump off your boat.

One month until I'm back in ARUBA!!!

Cruisers forum is also dead. I'm waiting for the semester to end next week. Then I can start on some of my winter projects....maybe. Boat show's in five weeks. That will break up the winter, at least. Stay warm, all. Hy

Ditto.

But I promise to not become one of those southerners who rub it in. In fact yesterday it was friggin cold here.

Was out at the boat yesterday & just looking at it made me long for April. They may moved her into the basin today for the rest of the winter

I never come out, no need to splash. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everybody.

Wish I had the intestinal fortitude to stay in over the winter. I’m really missing my “clubhouse”.

How did the trip down with the boat go? How many days did you take to do it?

Gotta paint the bottom eventually; NO?

Some of the guys on my canal stay in, shrinkwrap and winterize in the water, then come out for a short haul (a few days) in late spring to paint the bottom, change zincs, wax sides, etc..
I’d be more willing to give it a try if I lived on the water and my boat was at my house, but kind of nervous about doing it at my dock which is 7 1/2 miles from home.
I’d really be worried while away on vacation during the winter.
One of these winters I’ll man up.......

We took a drive out east to check on the boat in it's winter slip.
The had us along side a 65 footer, always some guy 'bigger'
