Splash Dates?

Idk. Until they ask me to leave . Great staff and gorgeous marina . Tough to beat

Rob

It is gorgous out there, plus you usually have double digit depths. We get out there atleast once a year for a fishing charter.

I'd love to append a little time out there on the boat. Don't want to do the commute back and forth unless during off hours, but wouldn't mind staying out there for a little while and cruising around to some east end spots.
My buddy used to keep a smaller boat out in Southold alongside his rental house, real nice fishing.

The smaller boat is going in Sunday, gas is getting delivered tomorrow, and the other boat will probably go in this coming week sometime if I can coordinate a time with the boat hauler.
I'm a little concerned about debris from all the reports, but anxious to get back out there.

The searay down in SC, is getting some work finalized, and should be in the water next week. So my folks are psyched about that.

The little boat, is still shrink wrapped in storeage. I just finalized on a marina. So itll be a while before she hits the water...

Finally made it in and all systems are working. Been a long winter and this spring hasn't caught on yet. It was freezing out east this morning.

Radar and arch are mounted
Bottom is painted.
Ips drive is painted.
Satellite tv cables run. Gonna wait to mount dish when in water to make sure level.
Charged batteries with generator as we still have no electric.
Put padded bumper on finger pier.

Getting there.
Next week ips mechanic comes down and that should be interesting.

Still have things to do but just got the call that the boat is in the water. Should be good to go by the weekend or early next week.

Had a busy week, and was fighting off a case of Pneumonia. Starting to feel better now though so hopefully this coming week if I can get an appointment with the hauler.

Today IPS mechanic came.
Both motors started right up and check out perfect
All systems go.

I am dying, this week is going sooooooo slow!
But on the plus side, I just checked and when I launch Friday it will be high tide!!! So that is a plus.
Also its going to be in the 60's with light winds!
Yahoo!
Get my boat in the water!

Good luck men! I just got back from London and very psyched about the 4 day forecast. Low 60's, light winds and sun, sun, sun! Let the LI boating season begin!

Currentsea is in and resting in her slip.
Rob, Walter and I took a ride and she ran great.
Had her at WOT at 3500 doing 35 mph
She was cruising at 28 mph burning 22gph
Joystick was great at slip but debris in water had me cut her off half way in and pull her the rest of the way
Love the boat. Hate the draft.
Also got my satellite tv reinstalled today and working.
Good day all around!
