Stony Point Bay Marina

Just think of the money you are saving Hogan. It would be what. 15-20 minutes of idle speed each way to get in and out.

Gov, I agree it is a long approach but come on.. 15 - 20 minutes.. That is just a slight exaggeration isn't it?

Thanks John..
I will be bringing the boat back over the first week of Oct.
No boating for me until then, too many non-boating functions.

See you then

how much of a deposit did they want to reserve a spot?

$500

Well I better go get one then. Rob, were the slips you mentioned the only ones available, or only for your size boat? At this point I am still in a 25' so I will not need as big a slip as you.

Thanks,
MJK

Butch, I could deal with the 15 - 20 minutes, but I just couldn't live without my family on "B" dock!

Not to mention the great Pennybridge staff (Steve, that was a 'suck-up' to you! - but it's true!)

OK so I stretched it a few minutes....

Mike, MAN WHAT A SUCK UP, Warren would be proud of you...

I have to wonder why the PB boys are trying to hijack a Stony Point Bay Marina thread????????

HHHHHMMMMMMMM????????

rommer, if you go back to the beginning you will see that the SBPM boys were trying to lure me over to that marina, so it is not even close to a hijack

Lure? Rumor has it you were begging to come over....

"rumor" is the correct word - had I wanted to be there, I would.

What type of crowd is on D dock? Young Kids? I need to make a decision this week. Its either there or my backyard for a year or two.

I'm on D dock. Its pretty quiet. Not many young kids. Our boys are 11 and 13. A guy near us has a 3-4 year old girl. I'm pretty sure there are more kids on G dock.

The problem is G dock doesn't have slips left.

I thought you said there were 2 slips on G Dock..

"The other was G39 which is on the outside of the main dock but the boat next to it looking right in the cockpit."

YOu should just suck it up and take this slip then if something else opens up next season you can move..

I really didn't want the slip I got (for the same reasons as you) but I figure at least I am on G Dock where we want to be. If something else on G dock opens up next season I will look to move.

Think about it..
