Walter..... I'll try to stop by when Im done working on my boat....if its not too late......but we'll need to find a new hiding spot from Rob......I told him where we were hiding last time he stopped by.......
Will be down at the boat tommorow morning, gonna wrap things up and get in the water next Saturday. Rob is coming around with the boat tommorow morning. Don, if your around come by, I have a bundle of shrink wrap in the water in my slip...... Oh and yeah it will be nice to see you
Well, I checked the old fashioned way and it looks like our worst fears are true... their phone number has been disconnected. This was the same number I used last year to find out about docking so I believe it is all over. That's a real bummer too because TJ's was one of the cool spots to go to get away from all the crazyness at OB. It can be nuts sometimes to get a spot over there. I have done the OB town marina a few times... it's first come first serve so you can wait and usually get a spot eventually. Last year I paid $60 for like 12 hours... if you would like to stay over night it's $120. You gotta tie up pretty good due to turbulance but the dock hands are pretty good at helping out. Be prepared to get your bumpers all greased up. Every time I try to park at any of the restaurants in OB it seems you have to know someone or pay through the nose. Kismet was cool but nothing there... by the time you pay for water taxis back and forth you might as well shell out for a place in OB.
