As a lot of you know, I was diagnosed with prostate cancer a short time ago, and have been under a Doctor's care in preperation for surgery.

Well it is now six weeks later, I have learned to exercise, I have lost all of my dignity, not to mention thirty two pounds and it is time to get this done.

Tomorrow, I go to Hackensack Med Center and let the DaVinci Robot crawl up between my legs and make love to me. With any sort of luck I will be released on Friday and be taking morning strolls with Butch very soon.

Don't start any real controversial threads while I am gone, as I would hate to feel as if I was left out, and I will see you all on the water real soon.

Best of luck.

Make sure you bring cigarettes for the robot when he's all done....

I did not know about this Pete. You are going to a great hospital and I'm sure you will be up & running in no time. Monica & I send our best wishes, thoughts and prayers to you and Brandy. We will be in touch and of course you know where to find us as well.

Pete
Cathy and I send our best wishes for a speedy recovery. We are sure that you and Brandy will be walking your dog at the marina in no time.

Pete - as a survivor of prostate cancer...5+ years...I wish you the best. Back when they did me, the robot was just a gleam in someone's eye, so I has an investigational, new treatment...cryotherapy...where they send five nitrogen-spouting needles up there and freeze the bugger to death. It worked.
HUMC is great. I had my bypasses there.
Wishing you a rapid return to the river. As a friend of mine said, after he had his prostate done, "I'm cracking urinals all over the place".
Stan

Best of luck to you, Pete. You will be in my prayers...

Pete, if Boston could sweep the Yankees, it should be a piece of cake for you to beat this.

Best of luck, you're in my thoughts and prayers.

Hang in there Pete, Things will work out in the end!

Pete,
Caryl and I wish you a quick recovery. Keep the spirits high and get out the on the weekend walks with us. Talk to you soon.

Pete, that sounds like a real PITA. Good luck with DaVinci, make sure he warms his hands first.

On a serious note, a boater stopped in today and told us he had the non-invasive surgery you're talking about. He was out of the hospital the next day and was shocked at how good he feels weeks later.

Pete, did not know this was going on, but "give'em hell," and we'll get the prayer team going. Do like Big Papi, spit in the right hand, slap'em together and take your stand at the plate, don't settle for less than a quality at bat!

OK HRCC, take a moment tomorrow morning to say a prayer that Pete may have as good a day as you are having...there is strength in numbers....be well....G

Pete, best wishes for success and a quick recovery
