Having a great time in Montauk! Spent Thursday night at Pilot's Point Marina - had a smooth ride there.

Came over to Montauk in beautiful weather yesterday, the skies are cloudy today, but starting to brighten up.

Going to Harvest for dinner tomorrow!

We are at the Museum dock in Roundout. Drizzling but should clear. It's $1.50 a foot. What a rip off. The bridge practically above our heads is where the fireworks will be set off. Glad I have a hard top.

No rain at all yesterday. Had a delicious dinner at the Inlet restaurant. The staff at MYC were driving around on golf cart handing out free rum punches. We had a great 4th of July celebration.

Today, the sun is out and we're hanging at the pools.

Gee Mike. You seem a little hippo critical.

Last year you said "Have they gone INSANE??? I refuse to pay almost $300/night to stay there! This is completely out of control. For $300/night, they should wash my boat, change the sheets, clean the interior and leave chocolates on my pillow. I will never go back to this over-priced marina."

It's more than $300/night!

And who are you calling a "hippo"???

I'm at Rondout Yacht Basin. Leave tomorrow, Monday.

Here with 6 boats from my club and another 4 from other clubs.

Weather looks awesome today.

We sea trialed Freedom out of Pilots Point and brought it home from there. Nice place with some decent fish fry places in the area.

Ok so it's hypocritical. Do you deny saying that?

Mike must have gotten a raise :) The price is crazy, but it is a real nice place.

For $300/night it should come with hot and cold running women.

Kingsmill is $100 per night regardless of size. Huge discount golf. Full concierge. Free transport all over the Williamsburg, VA area. A few seasons ago, my buddy paid 2.25 per night. I paid $4.00. Same service regardless.

My 2 centavos.

I thought you guys canceled this trip? I would have stopped by and said hello. I stopped there for fuel for my dink as we went down to the water fall. We stayed at the museum dock just up the creek under the bridge that they set off the fireworks from my boat is covered in crap from that landed all over the boat.

It's an absolutely gorgeous day at Block. 85, sunny and humid with a cooling breeze. Dinner at Manisses tonight.

No clamming yet.

Another sunny morning at Champlins!

We had a fabulous dinner last night at the Manisses Restaurant.

If you guys can use the fifty-cent word "hypocritical" I can say "vicarious!" We "can" boat all year in NE FL, but for many it's Spring and Fall boating, too hot in summer, too cold in even our winter... Anyhow, I miss your adventures while you're on the hard and I'm glad to see you out there and Livin' Large. Enjoy! I enjoy simply reading about it.

Hogan Where are you know and how much more time do you have on vacation?

We are at Champlins, staying out another week

We were having such a great time at Block that we ended up staying nine days. The restaurant at Champlins has a new name and chef, we ate there 3 times, the food was very good. We also ate at Kimberly's, which is next door to the grocery store. The food and service were outstanding!

The lobster chowder at Poor People's Pub was the best we ever had.

Left yesterday, some fog near Block, then about 6 - 10 miles of pea soup, at times I could barely see past my bow. Luckily, the water was flat and there were not a lot of other boats out. Not fun when you see something on your radar coming your way, and you can't see it with your eyes until it's about 100 yards from you.

We came up to Essex Island Marina. The flies on the river were biting like crazy! Not much has changed since Brewer took over.

Ate at the Black Seal last night, it was OK.

It's sunny and not a cloud in the sky today.
