Wax on, Wax off...

I was there the only one I saw was Rising Sun. I still didn't start but I'm hoping to have a warmer day to get busy.

Yup, too cold. I started bottom painting but it was not going on right because of the temperature. But hull & outdrives are ready. Will give it another shot Friday.

I wasn't that cold today. I was outside splitting 2 cords of firewood with my splitter, have 6 more to go.

Im pretty much done, just have bridge area to do now. If everything goes right this week should be wet by Friday.

Finishing touches in the morning then the installation attempt of the rudder angle indicator and auto trim tabs. Keep the women and children back 500 feet.

I'll be next door in a pinch give me a holler. Do you have everything you need?

I should be able to hear the cursing from my boat!

Finished polishing from the rub rail down, will do the rest of the sides tomorrow. The a couple coats of wax.

Ordered my zincs, a quick coat of bottom paint and we should be good to go.

Got the auto trim tabs done thank to Daves help. It could have gotten ugly. The rudder angle indicator goes in tomorrow. The good news is I won't need my glasses with the size of the gauge. I think it was made for the QE2.

I was wondering where he disappeared to...

Hank anytime I was glad to help I actually enjoy doing new projects and figuring out the best way to accomplish things. The best part is when things don't work I still get to go home heck it's not my boat:)

I had a good time and I'm glad everything turned out well.

Well, it's all done and everything is working. Apparently if you don't wire things like the directions say, it doesn't work. go figure. Anyway thanks again for the help. I am now officially ready to splash.

The Caryl-D is in her slip. let the season begin....

Sounds like I will need the snow blower tomorrow. 4-6 inches. Mike hurry up and launch your boat. Enough already..
