Dear Mr Hogan

I realize it is early in the season and we all are a little rusty in our respective skill sets but the current pattern of weekend weather leaves a LOT to be desired. 8 weekends in a row with cold, wind and rain just don't inspire confidence in an enjoyable season.

Since you took on the job of weekend weather god I respectfully request you spend more time focusing on more important things like sunshine on days that start with an "S" Get with the program!!!!!

Sincerely

Your boating friends.

Mike:

As we are leaving on Saturday for a week in the Carolina's, don't feel any undue pressure from me to provide nice weather on the Hudson for the upcoming week-end.

That being said; What-ever you can do to help out fellow HRCC members would be appreciated.

I am starting to get worried that I used up all my weather powers last year - this crappy weekend weather just ain't right!!!

Yeah. We need some good fishing weather in the next few weeks. Maybe we need to sacrifice a chicken or something.....

We could sacrifice a virgin but they are really hard to find!

Mike, you can tell them about our arrangement. Remember the one where you said you were going to save up the good weather until we launched?

I am launching Saturday, so a miserable weekend is pretty well assured, at least on the lower Hudson.

I launched the center console today, so now would be a great time to start controlling the weekend weather Mike.

Please????

Yup, I would like to place an order for nice sunny weekends all summer also & if it wouldn't be to much trouble, don't forget to throw in the cool breezes too please. - thank you

Mike,
You said it, crappy weather. Maybe the weather God misunderstood you and said sure my son, please control your CRAP, WEATHER you have to or not, It stinks down there.:D

Rob I'm workin' it! We just got the transom lights in today, and I painted the bottom also. So we are close. I figure we should be ready to launch on the 19th.

I dont know about this weekends weather, but what about todays. Left work early and fished awhile. 18 stripers and a couple of cold ones and we called it a day.

Good to hear gov sure was a nice day. BTW checked out your link it was nice to check out the cool pictures i really enjoyed it, nice job... Jon

Is it to far to go for you to Les's Church and maybe have him re-instate your weather powers? Maybe you could get it done via E-Mail?

Man, it was beautiful today. Too bad I had to work, plus go to two doctors' appointments, tend to my wife who's sick with a stomach bug, and meet with the Town Supervisor at night. Saturday we're putting docks in and it figures to be terrible...

Glad SOMEBODY had a good time, Butch!!!

Took a mental health day yesterday. Took the dinghy out for a spin around Stony Point Bay then used it to detail the port side of the boat. Alas, I think that was the last of the sun till May :(

I suppose it could work but just think of all the antics we would miss.

Maybe the sacrifice of a forum newbie?
