Well I'M still having fun!!!

Actually we are surprised by how fast the leaves are falling already. The poison ivy which normally turns bright red has done so in many places already. While the banks are probably not showing yet, things are starting. It could be the colors will be early this year. It's a crap shoot.

"Just playing with ya, Pete, according to your post of October 1, you took your boat out October 1! Since you posted at 12:34AM, it wouldn't have left you much time out on the river."

Duh, sorry Mike, I didn't quite catch the gag. I do have a habit of posting awfully late at night (or is it early in the morning???)

Yeah, Gary, its that damn starboard engine. I think I had just started working on it the last time I saw you July 4!!!

Dan, I never knew poison ivy could be that beautiful!!!

PS - George, you are so right - we can always learn something from our kids :) ...

So maybe I should come for a weekend and we'll get it going?
What exactly are you doing to it anyways? Was there a starting issue with that one?

We were in the Catskills last weekend at a lake house and the colors were magnificent. Granted, we were a bit north of Kingston but rommer, you should get a descent show this weekend.

Colors???? Bah Humbug - all that means is that boating season is winding down for the year. You can take your "colors" and stick em where the sun don't shine!

rommer, he's referring to ME, not YOU!

Thanks, Gary. Actually I just need to get up there and finish putting all the hoses together, and new wires, cap and rotor. There just hasn't been time, and honesly we've been concentrating on using the other boat. I'll probably get most of it finished on Thursday as I'm taking the day off to go up there...

went out and rafted with 7 other boats yesterday, it was gorgeous!

Today wasn't shaby either! Hey John you guys checked out early! Sorry we didn't get a chance to chat a bit I was going to thank you for the tip on Belmar. it looks like we will stop in there now.

Glad I could help Dan. Yea, one of the boats had to get back early so we all left. I sure can understand stopping at Belmar after seeing the price for diesel at your marina. $5.19 is criminal!!!!! Even Haverstraw is down to $4.39.

Have a great trip south and enjoy the retirement, you've both earned it!

BTW - the river was like glass both days. One of the nicest rides I've ever had on the river. Even caught the tide in both directions for a change.
