8/18 will work for us at the moment but schedules are always subject to change. Any ideas for the where part of the equation.

We also have friends on Stoney Creek - one is on Riverside & the other is on Laurel(both on the water) We're actually going to be there on Sat - the one on Riverside just got his boat a couple of weeks ago - I showed him how to run it - it's his 1st boat. We brought it up from Annapolis. We're going out Sat. to "practice anchoring". Maybe we'll see you around some time. We boat mainly around the Magothy, but we plan to bring out boat up to Stoney sometime.

Chuck - it's a decent location that will hold as many boats as we want to line up. If you look at the Stoney Creek chart, it's way in the back (1.7 mi past the drawbridge) where Brady Cove, Long Cove and Sloop Cove all converge. It's nice clean, quiet water, and it's 6mph on the weekend. The location would be N39.08.845 W76.32.868.
Here's a shot of the proposed location...
It's a pretty popular location for folks coming in to anchor... We can hang there Fri night to 'claim' the area.

They are right by the "e" in Riverside.
It's on the Pasadena side a couple of blocks off of Duval Hwy. They are just below Long & Sloop coves. There is a 27' Searay(blue trim) on a lift at their house.
Stoney Creek looks like a good place to raft up. Maybe we'll see you there.

How funny! I just moved here...I'm at the corner of Edgewood and Northfield. They're about a 2 minute walk from us. I looked up Riverside on Mapquest, and it only showed the one on the Magothy.
Guess I haven't explored the area enuf since March... too busy moving in!

Wow... it's only taken us from February 9th to July 2nd to select a date and location for this...
Mike... if things get cramped in Chuck's rocket... we should have room, or can offer local accommodations (a VERY short dinghy trip) suitable for BE members.
