FUEL PRICES

$3.25 for diesel at Claudio’s in Greenport
 
We saw a sign that had diesel at 2.65 down here in jersey. We were going to wait until we got back to NY before we filled up again. NOT!!!
 
Went over to the pumps here at the Nantucket Boat Basin and I guess the prices are so high they don't even post the prices!!!!!

Some heavy duty pump setups though...
 
$3.75 here on Lake Mahopac with Startron added into the fuel...
 
Gas runs anywhere from 3.25 up down here in the highlands.
 
Still $3.49 for 89 at Coeymans Landing.
 
Haverstraw Marina
Fuel type -> Valvetech

Gas $3.39
Diesel $3.19

Fuel type -> Saw an SOS tanker in there so who knows!

White's in New Hamburg is now $3.299 for gas...didn't note the price for diesel-will try to edit tomorrow

I can't understand why anyone would go to Panco and pay $.30/gallon more...
 
Spread the word! Lets create a price war between Panco & Haverstraw. Benefit us all!
 
Panco's out for me until they stop being greedy! They are like the gas station on the Palisades that is consistantly .30+ higher than the Orangeburgh stations. I would rather push my car up the road to get gas elsewhere then donate to their obvious crack habit. They must be on crack to charge those prices.

Reasons to fuel up at Haverstraw vs Panco

Haverstraw

1) Better prices
2) Better pumpouts
3) Less Current and waves
4) More room to maneuver
5) Bigger dock with more pumps

Panco

1) Closer to Stony Point

Thats all I can think of...
 
I too prefer Haverstraw but have used Panco a couple of times due to being opened past 8pm. The last time I was there, the pumpouts were broken. Made a note to myself to ask about the pumpouts before I tie up.
 
Haverstraw adds ValveTech to their fuel, Panco does not.
