That sounds so much more expensive John. I hope Mike has the correct electronics on board. Please Mike make sure you plot your course prior to departure. Also make sure you provide a float plan to JD at your marina. This way he can call and verify you arrived at your destination SAFELY!!

well Mike looks like you may have company. Was talking this weekend and since the 4th is wed thinking of going over the 4th and staying till sunday. Caryl can drive to work from there. Steve and myself will be off...
 
Going north is lots of stop and go....which may blow your trany. I would try block island.. besides thats what Gine wants !!![:-jump2]
 
Oh, you're a chicken. I've never had a problem with a transmission in years of going up and down the canals. I've broken a lot of other things, but never a tranny...

Then again, the only time I ever blew a transmission was at full speed one summer evening off Newburgh - hit a submerged object right under the bridge in the main shipping channel. We circled around - I think it was a floating stump, but the damage was already done...
