Numerous boats on fire...north end Haverstraw

The rail that is sticking out of the water looks like the rail in the picture.

It was "On Your Mark" news coverage clearly shows the distinctive light blue/green hull before it went over.

John I know you understand that industry, but how could their claim be denied unless arson is proven? If Casey got off anything is possible!!

Wife's on the way to inspect for smoke, cinders on Knot Flyin. Glad noone was hurt.

It's amazing that it didn't do more damage to the dock or the boat next to it.
Burn almost straight down.
Seems like fire was in engine room or something.
This will have a interesting outcome!

I think some had nightmares after seeing the interior and wanted revenge!

Would have been a good looking boat without that ridiculous sportfish styled flybridge on top of the skylouge... But the interior? Who designed it, a pimp? A sheik?

That interior is butt ugly.

I bet in person it looked 10 times worse.

Wife just inspected Knot Flying. Said that green dock has ashes everywhere, but it doesn't look like any hot embers made it that far. No damage anywhere on green dock. Samalot's cleaning crew is at our boat now, so we'll be squared away for the weekend.

Dan, insurance investigators are very good at finding the root cause of a fire. Even if it is under water now it's amazing what can still be discovered after the fact. I can't believe it is anything else but a purposeful event.

It was "On Your Mark" I would suspect arson. They couldn't afford it, and couldn't sell it, so...

There is no doubt that this is shady...
I have a few friends who know the owner and from what I hear this is right up his alley...

Drove by yesterday I think on your Mark is closer to the road like two finger away. This stinks the boats survived a storm and then burn up in a fire. I hope everyone is OK and no one got hurt.

Mike that's a big leap I hope or do you know for sure that is the boat on fire?

"On Your Mark" moved closer to the fuel dock last year, they even installed new piling for her...

Ok John I'll agree but let's see what happens.

As far as the interior goes, maybe it spontaniously combusted from all the glitz.

Some one is doing jail time for this one. So much easier to sink a boat than burn it and get away.
Idiot. I am sure owner won't be in trouble, just guy he hired

There was a boat that rode out the storm over at Croton Point, it had a light blue hull like this one...I have to assume it's the same boat.

You guys are crazy for accusing someone on a public forum.

I agree... Boat fires happen... Could have been moisture from the storm getting into the shore connections... Power surge.. Who knows...

Like I said. No one will go to jail on this one. Guaranteed.
