Trojan 440

Do you guys have any interior pictures? Best looking express I have ever seen, I have never seen one on the water so they must be rare. You guys have a great boat IMHO.

Walter Mine is a 96' I have a maple interior but the layout is for the most part the same with the exception of the third stateroom of which there are a least three different designs I have seen. I don't have the third stateroom but both Starry and Hogan do however the design is different for both of them.

Being I don't have the third stateroom I added a filler for a third bed.

I don't have any pictures of either of the heads or the second stateroom. I have found it to be a very comfortable boat both in port and under way. I had never seen me boat until I bought it then the day I brought it home to my marina I met Bob, I hadn't noticed there was another in my marina Bob was very excited to see another he spent at least an hour showing me everything about my boat he was very helpful. If there is anyone out there considering buying a 440 they are great boats and feel free to contact one of us with any questions.

Wow, what a difference not having a third bedroom makes. Here are a few shots of mine:

Bob, he can't PM because he's not anchored. In any event, all questions about the boat should be posted here, for all to read and learn...

I love the look of the hard top it's a sharp looking boat for sure. My wife complains about not having a place to get sun but I love the look. Do you have any pictures that show the window in the front part of the hard top just above the windshield? How is the viability? I can see just a peace of the window in the starboard view of the cockpit.

I will post some photos this weekend. Going to FL to spend a week familiarizeing myself with her. And to introduce the admiral and first mate.

Hi Bob
I tried to send you an e mail, however I get a window telling me that I have to be a subscriber which I'm, since I'm in here.
Anyway, may be you can send me your e mail direct?
I have been looking for a group like this for a long time.
Lots of great pics posted, I got some of mine ready and will get some more this weekend.

Here is a good example of the visibility, you do have to get used to it. I tend to migrate more towards the left side of the helm if running in a congested area. I do not find it any harder than running any other pilot house vessel.

I enjoy reading about these boats. They are in my top 5 favorite express boats. My marina sold 6 or 7 of them new and I can remember running one to a boat show once, I love it!

Mike - Yours is the third one now that I have seen with a tele on the side arch. Was that an option or did you mount it there. How is it powered/cabled?

Hi John, I had the Television added along with Sat and Big Bay Computer a few years ago. All hardware is under the helm seat behind the 12V panel. Computer, monitor at helm and tele all run off inverter also under helm seat. Cables run down interior of arch into area behind refer and into the underneath of helm seat. We mounted the Sat receiver in the third stateroom closet along with sat dish controls. Main panel is directly above so running wires to helm and under helm seat was fairly easy.

It will take some time but when you see an anchor next to your name you will have ability to email other anchored members well to the club.

I'll be looking for the anchor, thanks.
Make that 4 with TV on side of arch and the box in the closet below.

It will be 5 by the time I splash in April. I'm installing a 26" LED HDTV.

I only have two at the moment but plan to add one in the cockpit this year. I will be installing the satellite hopefully before I launch when I run the wires I will run a feed to the arch for another TV.

Thanks for the interior pictures, Mike, that hardtop is sooooo cool, I love it !!!!
