No they don't, I'd like to have ones with lights so I can tell when things are on from the dash. I've left the ER lights on a couple of times by mistake.
 
Mine light up. The other thing I found is there are extra switched all prewireed for accesories. You can open acess plates in the arch and find wires lables for anything you may want to add later. Mine even has been prewired for radar.
 
Does anyone have some experience with the location of a fluxgate compass? When I swing my boat the devation is too big. How about gyro?

Have you ever pulled one of the switches to see if wiring for the lights are present? When I first looked at mine none of the lights worked. It turned out to be a bad ground. Once fixed they all worked. They are daisey chained together.

Yes,
You need to have it located away from any metal objects or wiring. This will provide you with an incorrect compass reading. I kept mine low and towards the center of the hull mounted forward to the bow and then adjust.

Like Starry Night mine is mid ship under the salon cushion one in from corner if I recall.
 
Mine is on the bulkhead just aft of the holding tank.
 
Mine is on the same bulkhead, however I'm worried about interferance from the pump for the waste tank plus I have a small air pump there feeding air into the holding tank to eliminate the need for chemicals to mask the "aroma" from the tank. Under the corner seat I have one of the AC units, too much metal.
 
I figured I would just keep adding to the Trojan thread. Seemed easier.

Well, we have the name worked out officially for the boat and a design for the name finally as well. We have had this on our other boat for a couple of years now:

So when we were trying to think of a name we came up with a bunch of Misses that just didn't see to fit us. Then my wife suggested the name below and it just sort of fit. We will have the Chillin' decal on the Trojan too and somewhere a Girl Gnome. My brother is making up the vinyl and should have it to me when we go back at the end of April.

I know how you feel My last boat was "The Audrey II" we did liked the name but The Audrey III just didn't work so we went with
"The Audrey Too". This was tough for us to decide on being the person who bought our last boat hadn't gotten a chance to change the name before he died while docks it, this really made it hard for us to keep the name but as you said it just works and in the end we decided to stick with it.

Enjoy the boat the name makes it yours and helps it feel like home.
 
Does anyone know the dimensions on the garage? Mostly the width? Although depth would help too.
 
I'm guessing about 9.5 feet based on how my dink fits in. But I can measure next time I'm there I you posted this yesterday I could have checked today. I wont be back there until Friday.
 
Thanks Dave. No need for exact measurements. I found a deal on a used Avon A11 Rib. Of course it is 11' and I was hoping so was the garage so I could store it there at least until I got an extended swim platform.
 
I have to deflate one tube in my Achilles LEX 95 to get it to fit in the trunk
 
I have a 10' and I deflate both tubes to lower it right in using the davit it works out great. I have a harness for the motor I lift that in first and I lift the dink I deflate it while it is hanging on the davits cable, then I lower it in. This year I bought a compressor to inflate it quickly I can't wait to try it out.
 
I have a two stroke motor so I lay it down in the garage and tank I stand up in the garage as well but it propped in place by the dink. keep in mind the garage is intended for a jetski it is expected that you will have a fuel tank in there this is with the is a separate blower just for the garage.
 
I run all the fuel out of my 2 stroke and store it in the garage with the dink. I keep the gas tank on the swim platform.
